Kendriya Vidyalaya Bhimtal was started in 2003. Kendriya Vidyalaya Bhimtal is surrounded by Hills, Greenery and Bhimtal Lake. Initially the school had two branches. In the year 2009, the first batch of class 12 passed out. There is a commerce stream in class 11 and 12 in the school.
